Headline

Get away from the modernity of Puerto Vallarta and immerse yourself in nature at two private coves accessible only by boat — Yelapa and Majahuitas! Sail on a catamaran to discover beautiful backdrops and snorkeling in calm and clear bays, even hiking to a secluded waterfall and visiting an intimate fishing village on this unforgettable adventure.

Description

Sail away to Majahuitas for great snorkeling

Your adventure begins at the marina in Vallarta, where you’ll board your catamaran and sail along the Bay of Banderas. Without sails, your motorized dual-hulled boat will whisk you to paradise with an open bar providing cold drinks. An energetic crew will keep you entertained with music en route to the bay. Soon enough, you’ll arrive to a peaceful cove featuring the soft white sand of Majahuitas Beach resting against emerald-green waters. Have fun swimming and snorkeling with included gear in this heavenly body of water.

Visit a fishing village and a waterfall at Yelapa

After enjoying lunch aboard the catamaran, your next stop is Yelapa, a tranquil and laid-back village with a golden-sand beach curving around a quiet cove. This portion of your Yelapa and Majahuitas adventure will have you swimming in the village’s private cove, enjoying the beach, walking to the village and hiking to the Cola de Caballo waterfalls. The name means ‘horse tail’ and you‘ll see a feathery waterfall cascading 82 feet over rocks into a cool, refreshing swimming hole. There, you’ll relax and enjoy a delightful swim before returning to the catamaran and sailing back to Puerto Vallarta.
