Description

Explore the mystery and adventure of Tulum

The journey begins with a transfer from your resort to one of the most awe-inspiring Mayan sites — Tulum. With your knowledgeable guide at your side to explain the secrets beyond the stones, you’ll visit the mysterious ruins of this magical sea-side archaeological wonder.

As you weave your way through the stones, you’ll also take in views that will leave you breathless. Tulum was the only walled city to be built at the top of a cliff, facing the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean. Discover the Temple of Paintings (Templo de las Pinturas), where you’ll see the partially restored mural with ancient Mayan paintings. And the highlight is the iconic El Castillo structure, a former watchtower that overlooks the ocean from the cliff.

Get extreme with zip lining, rappelling and snorkeling

To complement your Tulum adventure, the journey continues to the Riviera Maya jungle for the extreme activities you’ve been waiting for. Go atop a thrilling zip line circuit and get the ultimate view of the jungle canopy by zooming over it. Additionally, brave the heights as you rappel back down to earth by pushing off a 60-foot platform.

Later, take it slower at a subterranean cavern, where you’ll swim and snorkel in its river’s gentle current. See the spectacular stalagmites and stalactites above and below the water and get a glimpse of a hidden world revered by the ancient Mayans.

Unwind with lunch in the Mayan jungle

To recoup and refresh from all the excitement and culture, delight in a buffet lunch served up on the gorgeous grounds of the jungle. Enjoy the natural surroundings and reward yourself with a well-deserved meal and soft drinks before being transported back to your resort.
