Description
Start your PADI certification program
Potential divers ages 8 and up are welcome to learn to dive and become certified by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). This is the largest professional group in the scuba world, and you'll learn from the pros. Beginning with exams on the basic understanding of diving, the Cozumel scuba diving certification program will move you into a confined water dive inside a swimming pool, so you can become familiar with scuba gear. Once you’re comfortable in the closed environment, you'll move into the open water. In order to become certified, you'll need to perform four dives, typically over two days.
Different certifications for different goals
The scuba diving certification courses in Cozumel are available for different ages and levels of learning. For those wanting to get introduced to diving, daily pool demos are offered with Discover Scuba Diving available for ages 10 and up. For those wanting to get certified, a number of open water courses are available for juniors and adults. There are also refresher courses and tuning courses for the more experienced divers looking to improve. Diving programs include scuba gear, instruction and guided boat dives.
