Description
Explore Las Marietas with PADI-certified divers
Your diving excursion in Puerto Vallarta begins at Vallarta Adventures Center in Nuevo Vallarta or the Maritime Terminal in Puerto Vallarta. The expedition will be led by dive masters certified by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), and they’ll provide you with guidance, wetsuits, regulators, weights and scuba tanks. Non-certified divers can dive up to 40 feet following a pool lesson, also available. For non-divers wishing to join the trip, snorkel gear and kayaking is an option, too. You’ll board a catamaran and set sail for Las Marietas, where lunch and drinks are included. Dropping anchor, you’ll have a chance to dive the underwater mountains, encountering plentiful sea life such as turtles, manta rays and tropical fish.
Diving into the depths of Puerto Vallarta
The one-tank diving excursion to Las Marietas visits the beautiful underwater mountain range that runs along the Pacific coastline, from Baja to Puerto Vallarta. Peaking as above-water islands with a hidden beach and cove accessible only via a cave swim or dive, Las Marietas provide an unusually alluring ecosystem beneath the waves. Two-tank dives are available to explore this beauty, as well. Visibility below the surface can average up to 39 feet in dive depths ranging from 25 to 75 feet. Bring your underwater cameras — you’ll want to capture images very few people get to see in person!
