Whales and more sometimes make special appearances
Occasionally, you may even be treated to visits by dolphins, whales, manta rays, and Hawaiian Monk seals. Between the end of December and the end of April this trip affords a great opportunity to see Humpback whales in the National Marine Sanctuary.Graceful sea turtles visit their own ‘car wash!’
Turtle Arches is another reef system located near Makena State Park offering a beautiful coral reef system. The caverns and ledges in the coral and lava create the perfect habitat for sponges, corals, octopus, fish, eels, and shrimp. The highlight of this reef is the number of Green Sea Turtles that gather here to be "cleaned" by a species of fish known as the Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse.Food and beverage throughout your adventure
