These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Amstar Affiliate Program ("Program"). By signing up or participating in the Program, you ("Affiliate") agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms.

1. Elegibility

To participate in the Program, the affiliate must be an officially affiliated travel agency with Amstar, having submitted all required documentation and approved to receive payments through our third-party provider, ONYX.

2. Tracking & Attribution

Affiliate bookings are tracked using:

• Login Credentials: Each travel advisor or agency may log in to the Amstar platform and book directly.
• Affiliate Links: Unique tracking links that use cookies to assign commission.
• Cookie Duration: 30 days unless deleted by the user or overwritten by another affiliate’s cookie.
• Only the most recently clicked affiliate link will be honored for commission attribution.

Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that referred clients use their valid links or log in credentials at the time of booking.

3. Commission Structure

Commissions are paid in accordance with Amstar’s Commission Payment Policy for Affiliated Travel Agencies, including:

• Tier-Based Structure:
• Bronze (up to $14,999 USD annual production): 10%
• Silver ($15,000–$29,999 USD): 12%
• Gold (over $30,000 USD): 14%
• Preferred Consortia: Travel agencies affiliated with Travel Leaders, MAST, Ensemble, or TravelSavers are assigned a default 12% commission, unless their production qualifies them for a higher rate.
• Commissionable Revenue: Based on gross sales (including taxes) for transfers, excursions, and supplements—excluding certain discounted or FAM trip services.
• All bookings, even non-commissionable ones, contribute to annual production for tier placement.
• Annual Review: Production is assessed annually to determine the following year’s tier. Mid-year reclassification may be granted for exceptional growth at Amstar’s discretion.

4. Commission Payment Process

• Payout Frequency: Monthly, based on the guest’s travel month.
• Payment Provider: All commissions are paid through ONYX. Amstar covers all related ONYX fees.
• Requirements: Agencies must be properly onboarded and have provided accurate payment details.

5. Non-Eligible Bookings

Commissions will not be paid on:

• Bookings using travel agent rates or more than 10% manual discounts.
• FAM trips or open services under Amstar’s FAM trip policy.

These bookings still contribute toward annual production totals for commission tier evaluation.

6. Compliance & Conduct

Affiliates agree to:

• Represent themselves and Amstar truthfully and professionally.
• Avoid spam, misleading promotions, or technical manipulation (e.g., cookie stuffing).

Violations may lead to immediate removal from the Program and forfeiture of pending commissions.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate participation in the Program at any time and for any reason. Commissions will only be paid for bookings properly attributed prior to the termination date.

8. Modifications

Amstar reserves the right to amend these Terms or the Commission Payment Policy at any time. Affiliates will be notified of any changes via email or platform notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Any disputes arising from this Program will be resolved in the courts located in Cancún.
