Relax and Unwind at Playa Mia Grand Beach Park
Next, we arrive at Playa Mia Grand Beach Park, a tropical oasis where relaxation and fun await. Lounge on the pristine beach, take a dip in the refreshing pools, or enjoy unlimited access to non-motorized water toys like kayaks and paddleboards.

Indulge in a delicious buffet lunch with drinks, featuring local flavors that enhance your Caribbean experience. Recharge and soak in the sun before the most spectacular part of the excursion: setting sail to El Cielo!

Sail to El Cielo on a Luxurious Catamaran
Board a comfortable catamaran and set sail toward El Cielo, Cozumel’s most famous snorkeling and swimming spot. Named "The Sky" for its shallow, crystal-clear waters, this natural sanctuary is home to countless starfish, making it a dreamlike underwater paradise.

After an unforgettable time at El Cielo, we sail back to Playa Mia, where your Jimny awaits for a final scenic drive before returning to the island’s downtown area, marking the end of this incredible adventure.

Practical Information

Clothing to bring: Swimsuit, closed shoes, sun protection clothing, change of clothes, water shoes, a hat or cap, and sunglasses
Items to bring: Money for tips, snacks, and souvenirs (tipping is optional), towel, sunscreen, a valid ID and driver’s license.
Valid driver’s license is mandatory. Min 18 years old with a valid driver’s license to drive.
All participants must sign a waiver.
A la carte menu at La Velaria Restaurant, as well as alcoholic drinks and sodas are available with an extra cost.
Other activities such as wave runners, parasailing, snorkel gear at the beach are available for an extra cost.
Services with extra cost: lockers, towels, beach umbrellas, outdoors massages, fish spa, hair braids, and bali beds.

JIMNY Restrictions

In case of misuse of equipment that could lead to damage there might be damage compensatory fees.
For safety reasons no cameras are allowed in the tour.
All participants must be: In good health & physical conditions and self-sufficient to participate in the tour.
This excursion is not available for guest in wheelchair or guest with walking difficulties.
Medical conditions are not allowed to participate: pregnancy, asthma, heart disease, epilepsy, respiratory conditions, blood pressure conditions, medicated/taking antidepressants, lithium, beta-blockers or base (vein) constrictors, anxiety attacks and panic attacks.
This tour is not allowed for people under the influence of alcohol, drugs (including prescription medications), pregnant and nursing women, children under 6 years old, guests with medical conditions such as back, neck, joint or muscular injuries, heart conditions, surgeries or people affected by some kind of permanent sequelae after a trauma in terms of sensibility, vision, and/or physical appearance , (tour operator on-site will be taken into consideration all restrictions mentioned in the final assessment to allowed or denied the participation on the tour).
If a guest shows any signs of alcohol consumption or being under the influence of any substance before the tour departure, we reserve the right to refuse service.
There is ZERO tolerance for reckless driving that can put any of the guests at risk.
The guest is fully responsible for any damage caused to the unit due to reckless driving or inappropriate negligence on its behave.
Minimum age to drive while presenting a valid driver's license on the day of the tour, is 18 years old.
Participants must comply with all the instructions given by the guide.
Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied, directly supervised and cared for by a responsible companion, parent (s)-or legal guardian always.

Beach activity restrictions

Participants must comply with all instructions given by the staff.
Participants must comply with the specific rules of each individual activity inside the park and beach.
Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied, directly supervised and cared for by a responsible adult companion, parent(s), or legal guardian at all times.
For safety reasons, the consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited for drivers.
The legal drinking age in Mexico is 18 years old. Minors will not be served alcohol, even with parental consent.
Playa Mia reserves the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to guests that appear intoxicated, are unruly or underage.
Playa Mia may require, at its sole discretion, a valid photo ID as proof of age for the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Services and activities are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Participants must comply with Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park rules of use while staying at the beach.
The participation in any and/or all of the services and attractions offered by the tour operator are entirely at the guest’s sole discretion, risk, and responsibility.

Restrictions at “El Cielito”

This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
Pregnant women and guests with asthma, heart conditions, diabetes, seizures, respiratory conditions, blood pressure conditions, back/neck injuries or those medicated with antidepressants, lithium, beta-blockers or base (vein) constrictors are discouraged to take part in this tour.
Minimum age to participate in this activity is 8 years old.
All participants must be self-sufficient and in good health.
Participants must be able to descend and ascend boat ladder(s) before and after the stay at “El Cielito”.
The use of a LIFE VEST during the visit to “El Cielito” is OPTIONAL.
Participants must follow all the instructions given by the vessel’s captain and/or his crew.
Participants must comply with the Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park rules of use.
Underaged participants must be accompanied, directly supervised and cared by a responsible companion, parent(s) or legal guardian all the time.
