The Dolphinclusive Interax in Xel-Ha gives you a 30-minute dolphin interaction in groups of up to six participants. You take part in 14 activities where you can hug, touch, and learn about these marine mammals in a controlled and safe environment.

Expert trainers guide the program, teaching you about dolphin anatomy, behaviors, and conservation efforts. You get direct interaction while learning practical ways to help protect their natural habitats. This activity balances fun with an educational approach.


Discover Xel-Ha Park Activities

After your dolphin swim, your admission includes full access to Xel-Ha Park. You can snorkel in the natural cove and watch colorful fish, or float down the river using a life jacket or inner tube.

If you prefer land activities, explore the jungle trails or ride a bike through scenic areas. Families can also enjoy children’s play spaces, while thrill-seekers can try zip lines and jump into the refreshing waters from climbing platforms.

Your Dolphinclusive Interax in Xel-Ha includes unlimited food and beverages during your visit. You will find buffet restaurants serving Mexican and international dishes, as well as bars with refreshing drinks.

Practical Information

  • Clothing to bring: Swimsuit, a hat or cap, sunglasses, closed shoes, water shoes, a light sweater, sun protection clothing, and a change of clothes.
  • Items to bring: Money for tips, snacks, and souvenirs (tipping is optional), biodegradable sunscreen, a valid ID and insect repellent.
  • Photo service available at extra cost
  • A 3 USD ($50.00 MXN) conservation marine animal life fee per person is required at the entrance for activities that include interaction with aquatic animals.
  • Free transportation: pick up in the lobby of your hotel, applies only to hotels that allow access to cars, if not, pick up will be at the meeting point closest to your hotel.
  • Adult’s rate: adults and children over the age of 11.
  • Children’s rate: children between 5 and 11 years old who measure less than 1.40 mts. (5.4 feet).
  • Free entrance and transportation: babies and children under the age of 5 (only for the park, not the swim dolphin).
  • Children under the age of 5 who will be swimming with dolphins must pay the dolphin swim price.
  • For the safety of the swimmers, dolphins and trainers, participants are asked not to bring video or photography cameras to the wet areas around the dolphin habitats.
  • Visitors accompanying a child are not allowed access to the dolphin habitats.
  • This offer is sold as a package. All park activities and interactions with dolphins must be used on the same day.
  • Friends and family members who will not be participating in the dolphin swim will need to pay for transportation and the entrance fee to Xel-Ha park. The package for non-participating friends and family members includes: access to Xel-Ha park, food and beverages, access to over 20 activities inside the park and transportation to and from the hotel.
