After checking in, you receive a 15-minute orientation that prepares you for safe and respectful interaction. Trainers explain how the program works and what you will experience in the water.The 40-minute dolphin session happens in the ocean, within the dolphins’ natural habitat. You enter the water in small groups, which keeps the experience focused and personal. The environment feels open and connected to the sea.
Educational Dolphin Connection Swim Interaction with Guided Activities
This program was designed to create structured interaction while learning at the center. You learn about dolphin anatomy and how their fins function in movement and balance. Trainers explain how dolphins use smell, taste, sight, and touch to navigate their world.During the session, you experience behaviors such as swimming by, kiss, fin shake, heart to heart, and guided free time. Dolphins greet you by moving their fins and responding to trainer cues. You also hear their vocalizations and observe how they communicate. Each activity builds confidence and understanding while keeping the tone engaging.
Full Marine Park Experience with Relaxation Time in Cozumel
After the dolphin program, you participate in a short meet and greet with manatees. A sea lion presentation follows, where the marine mammal experts demonstrate behaviors and explain their care. These additional activities expand the experience beyond a single interaction.Lunch time and free time allow you to relax and explore Chankanaab National Park. - Clothing to bring: Swimsuit, a hat or cap, sunglasses, water shoes, sun protection clothing and a change of clothes.
- Items to bring: Money for tips, snacks, and souvenirs (tipping is optional), a valid ID, reusable bottle and sunscreen.
- Photo service, lockers rental, additional activities, a la carte menu, service upgrades available at extra cost.
- For safety, this activity is restricted during pregnancy.
- Children between 1.20 mts & 1.39 mts can participate accompanied for 1 adult. Children of 1.40 mts or more can participate by themselves.
- Chankanaab Park is opened daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
