Description
No matter your level, you can find yourself diving in Cozumel with one of these PADI-sanctioned courses. PADI, or Professional Association of Diving Instructors, is the largest professional group and it is well-equipped to provide you with proper training. Instruction begins with a basic understanding of diving, along with swimming pool lessons to get you familiar with SCUBA gear, then shallow dives from a beach, to confined dives to open-water dives by boat.

For the youngest divers, ages 12 and up, there are Discover Scuba programs lasting just three to four hours. This age can also partake in junior open water dives in a program that lasts four to five days for certification. Open Water Diver programs are also available for ages 15 and up. Training includes advanced courses, refresher courses and courses to help improve current certified divers, and even two-day courses to teach underwater photography. Diving programs include SCUBA gear, instruction and boat transportation. Pool dives and training take place at Sunscape Sabor & Secrets Aura hotel. Once certified, you are free to enroll in numerous diving excursions also available in Cozumel.

Please note: All certified divers MUST have dove within the last two years and will need to present their certification card at check-in.
Open Water Diver Referral Course participants will need to present all referral training documentation.
People with a pre-existing heart problem will not be able to participate.

Intro Scuba Course (Pool)
The Intro Scuba Diving program provides non-divers with an opportunity to actually scuba dive in the safe confines of a swimming pool followed by a shore dive. All diving equipment is included.
Open Water Referral Course:
If you’ve completed your academic and pool training at your local PADI shop but want to do your four open water training dives in the ocean, this two day program is the one for you. Course includes: Equipment, instructions, two beach dives and two boat dives.
Advanced Open Water Dive Course:
The Advanced Open Water program provides the novice diver with a structured, well-supervised means to gain additional experience. This three day course includes: five day dives, manual, dive tables, log book & rentals. Open Water Certification is a prerequisite.
