Travel by speedboat to experience white sands and plenty of natural beauty along the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic with an unforgettable Saona Island tour. This is more than a simple trip to the beach. You’ll also enjoy activities such as snorkeling, volleyball, swimming in a natural pool full of starfish, and plenty of dancing and music aboard the boat.
Sail to the starfish
The Saona Island tour begins by boarding your speedboat. You’re going to be zipping through the water toward the fishing village of Bayahibe. As you pass the jungle and mangroves of the national park, keep your eyes wide open for the creatures that call this wilderness home. On the way, your guides will take you to a hidden gem — a natural swimming place filled with colorful starfish.
Following your swim with the stars, you’ll continue onward — and you’ll know you’ve arrived when the boat pulls into the gorgeous white sands of Saona Beach. Enjoy, as there are few places like it.
A day of great beach fun
Learn to dance merengue, swim in the clear Caribbean Sea and get competitive with a game of beach volleyball. If you’re curious about marine life, your Saona Island tour includes snorkeling, too.
Beach life is about balance, so once you’ve worked up a sweat, it’s time to take a break under the shade of palm trees. Don’t doze off too early, though, because there’s also a Dominican lunch buffet with a variety of regional dishes to delight in! If you want to take your relaxing a step further, you can book a massage for an additional fee.
Cruise back from your Saona Island tour
You won’t want to say ‘adios’, but when the time comes to end your dreamy tour of Sanoa Island, it will be in style. Board your comfy catamaran, which will cruise back to Bayahibe and the Bavaro Coast with music and an open bar to enjoy along the way.
By the time you return to your resort, you’ll have lots of memories from your tropical paradise adventure.
