You’ll be picked up at your resort and taken to the USS Arizona Memorial, a platform built over the water above the sunken wreckage of that day’s attack. Watch a short but powerful film that showcases the dreadful attacks on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, which claimed the lives of 1,177 sailors. Then board a U.S. Navy launch boat that will take you to the memorial.
Visit a peaceful temple and a pineapple plantation
Rising 1,200 feet above the sea, the Nu’uanu Pali lookout provides the most spectacular views of Oahu, a perfect location to capture Hawaii’s beauty on photo. Next, head to Byodo-In Temple, the Japanese temple whose mountain backdrop, peacocks and koi make it one of the destinations most beautiful locations. After this stop, continue on to the world-famous Dole Pineapple Plantation for a chance to sample fresh pineapple that will melt in your mouth. When you finish, transportation will take you back to your Waikiki resort.
