Designed for dolphin lovers aged 8 & up, our Dolphin Encounter is a unique 30 minute interactive program for those who'd prefer to have their first dolphin experience in shallow water. 
Your Dolphin Encounter begins with an introduction by our trainer to help you understand the dolphins' anatomy, physiology, natural history, & fascinating underwater communications. 
Then with your trainers, you'll step into the shallow end of our pool, where you'll have 15 min. to examine the dolphin's physical characteristics while rubbing & petting the dolphin's smooth skin.
Dolphins are as curious about us as we are about them, and the strong relationship that our trainers have with the dolphins allows you to experience, up close, the intelligence & physical abilities of these fascinating animals. Later your trainers will show you some training signals & how to feed them before saying goodbye with a friendly hand shake & a big kiss!
- Arrive at the Cabo Dolphin Center 30 minutes before your scheduled swim.
- Wear bathing suit under shorts
- Leave jewelry in your room. No jewelry allowed in the pool.
- Bring:
- Extra t-shirt
- a hat, sunglasses and bio-degradable sunblock1
- towel
- camera2, extra batteries, film/disc
- cash for snacks, beverages, souvenirs, DVD’s and photos
NOTES:
1Sunblock can be used outside of the pool only.
2 For safety reasons, cameras are not allowed in any of the pool areas. A professional team of photographers will be on hand to capture the memories.
Children aged 4 to 8 years must be accompanied by a participating adult. Parents may hold children aged 1 to 3 free of charge.
