The plaza also has sculptures, shady trees, walkways, benches and the ambience for visitors & locals alike to mingle.
Your last stop is the seaside village of Santa Cruz where you can visit the local church and see the largest painting of the Virgin of Guadalupe.
You’ll also find the open-air market off to one side of the main plaza where you can find more handicraft shops and numerous restaurants for a quick snack or for the more adventurous - famous Oaxacan grasshoppers too!
