Imagine yourself on a beautiful adventure that will both educate and delight you! Climb aboard a comfortable, open air passenger truck and explore the pristine tropical environment of Punta Sur Ecological Park. The park, which marks the southern most point of Cozumel, is a 247 acre area that encompasses coral reefs, quiet beaches, lagoons and the tangled mangrove jungle indigenous to this part of the Caribbean.
You will stop at a jungle lagoon to look for crocodiles and visit Tumba Del Caracol (Tomb of the Conch Shell), a 1,200 year old Mayan ruin dedicated to the Goddess Ixchel, that also announced hurricanes by the increasing winds whistling through the shells. Get a truly spectacular bird’s eye view of Cozumel’s southern stretches, the shimmering Caribbean and the mainland off in the distance when you climb to the top of the Celarain Lighthouse. Stroll through the small yet interesting Nautical Museum. Later move through the mangrove forest to the white sands of a secluded beach for an inspiring, guided snorkel tour.A quick, fun-packed activity!!!
